Over the past 20 years, I've collected and saved little pieces of knowledge and techniques on my path of learning to build my practice. I use a variety of methods from sawing, soldering, and the hand-forging of metals to create jewelry that has a minimal and modern feel. My designs are not perfect but are meant to capture the humbled beauty in the materials and to be enjoyed and worn daily. When teaching, I find my methods are easily transferred to the beginning jeweler. Sharing these methods is not intimidating to the student, but can add ease to the learning process and create a space for the participant to bring their voice to the craft.
